Spicy Schezuan Stir Fry Sauce

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable or peanut oil, for stir-frying 
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons chile paste, according to taste 
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar 
  • 1/4 cup hot water 
  • 1 teaspoon sugar 
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons soy sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed in 4 teaspoons water 
  • 2 green onion (spring onions), chopped 

Directions

1. Mix first six ingredients in a glass bowl or large measuring cup and set aside while preparing veggies, etc.

2. When ready, pour sauce over stir fry and then add cornstarch and water and stir till desired thickness achieved.

3. Serve topped with chopped green onions.
