Green Smoothie


Ingredients

½ frozen banana
1 cup diced frozen mango
1 cup frozen strawberries (or blueberries)
1 cup frozen chopped kale (or spinach, collard greens, etc.)
6 pitted honey dates
1 tsp ground flaxseeds
1 tsp psyllium husk fibre
Contents of one probiotic capsule (optional)
½ cup soymilk (or other non-dairy milk)
1 cup water (approximately)



Directions

Place all frozen ingredients in a high power blender with the dates and powdered ingredients on top. Pour the soymilk and water over top of everything until just about level with the top of the frozen ingredients. 



Blend on highest setting for 60 seconds. Makes two large smoothie cupfulls. Add a couple of ice cubes to the above if you like it colder.
