Pineapple Almond Shake

Ingredients

¼ cup blanched almonds
1 cup roughly chopped fresh pineapple
4 pitted honey dates
½ cup ice, crushed or cubes
¼ cup coconut milk or soy milk
½ cup pineapple juice


Directions

Grind the almonds in a blender to a fine powder. Add the pineapple and dates next, topping with the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.

Pour into 3 glasses and serve immediately.

  1. I bet you could use frozen pineapple in this to make it easier and therefore better. I'll give it a try sometime and let you know if it works. Thanks for the recipe!

    1. Frozen pineapple would be great, if that were a thing. I usually see canned or fresh, but never frozen. If you have them, go for it. Would keep it cold in the high friction blender also.
